Eli Jacquez
Intern: We met Eli and his family at the Children’s Hospital picnic in 2010. He and his sister were with their parents in support of Eli’s younger brother Dylan, who is a patient of the Children’s Hospital heart program. Eli and his sister took a liking to our organization and helped us the entire day to give out t-shirts, play games and inform people about our group.
Since then, Eli and his family have made it to nearly all of the Hope Marietta Foundation’s events, and continues to stay in touch with members of our group. Eli isn’t the only Jacquez involved with our group; his younger brother Dylan is the honorary King of Hearts for the 2nd Annual Hope for Hearts Casino Night this year!
Eli has been such a big help to our group, we decided to bring him on full-time as our first ever Intern. A 6th grader at Rodney Thompson Middle School, Eli is responsible for assisting our group with our community service events. He helps with set-up and break-down, as well as day-of planning. When he’s not helping our charity, he is keeping his little sister, Mimi in line or playing Call of Duty online with his friends.
